The Climate Reality Project wanted young voters to elect earth-friendly candidates in the midterm election. The only problem? They couldn’t endorse any real candidates. So we created one—a penguin named Earth. With some help from Liza Koshy, Kristen Bell, Al Gore and others, we helped raise the youth voter turnout to record highs for the midterms.
She even got an endorsement—ahem, I mean en-Gore-sement—from the former VP.
She’s a penguin of the people and she’s got my vote. Consider this my official endorsement of Congressional candidate @EarthForAmerica. Check out her platform at https://t.co/7jNRdRYKGS and make sure to vote on Nov 6! #StandWithEarth pic.twitter.com/PqzdIcZYb2

Shephard Fairey, who designed the Obama poster (maybe you've heard of it?) had his own Studio One design a poster for Earth.
Earth's website educated visitors on the issues and how to vote. Nearly 1,000 people registered to vote directly through the site.
But it wouldn't be a real political campaign without some trolls.
Totally normal Vice President Al Gore endorses a penguin for congress.

You read that correctly.
Al Gore endorsed a penguin.
The penguin even speaks at the end of the video.
This is your thought leader, libs. pic.twitter.com/K7ChNroxMf
Of course, Earth had to withdraw before the election so voters could elect, you know, human leaders.
